Rugby sevens returns to Vancouver in 2024, with tournament pass pre-sale available starting today, October 19, and general public on-sale set to begin on Tuesday October 24 at 10:00 a.m. PT. Full ticket details are now available at vansevens.com.

Taking place February 23-25 at BC Place Stadium, HSBC SVNS Vancouver 2024 will mark the ninth time the city has played host to an international rugby sevens tournament, with the 2024 edition introducing new ticket options and fan experiences. All 64 matches will be open to the public, with each of the three days featuring thrilling sevens action, fancy dress, and an electrifying crowd.

The fourth stop on the new HSBC SVNS series, the tournament will see 12 women’s and 12 men’s teams, including both Canada’s Women’s and Men’s Sevens Teams, vying for the title of Vancouver Sevens champion.

“We are proud that Vancouver will once again join a select group of host cities on the new HSBC SVNS series, and we are excited about new ticket offers and activations that will create an incredible fan experience,” said Jamie Levchuk, Rugby Canada Managing Director, Operations and Game Development.

“This year’s tournament will include the same fun and excitement that Vancouver knows and loves, while adding new elements aimed at enhancing the experience of everyone who walks through the gates at BC Place. Our ticket offers, including a new enhanced premium Elite option, are designed for accessibility and flexibility, and the match schedule has been structured with fan-friendly timings, reducing early mornings and late nights to ensure fans can attend as many games as possible.”

Three-day tournament pass options include the enhanced Elite tickets, which give fans behind-the-scenes experiences with national team players in the media mix zone and players area. As with the Club and Fieldside Premium options, Elite ticketholders will also have exclusive access to lounges and private food and beverage services.

In addition, the new Sevens Seat Saver deal allows fans to save both their seats and their money, with designated seats in the upper areas of the Reserved sections available starting at $120. General Admission passes start at $165, with a discounted price option for groups of 10 or more.

Purchasing a tournament pass provides fans first choice of seat selection, while inventory remains. There will once again be the option of a tournament pass payment plan, allowing payments in installments leading up to the event.

Details on all ticket types and further event information can be found at vansevens.com, with additional one-of-a-kind experiences and offerings to be announced in the coming months.

“We are excited to welcome fans from all over the world back to Vancouver in just over four months. Vancouver is one of the best stops on the HSBC SVNS series.  The atmosphere in BC Place is absolutely electric, particularly when Canada runs onto the pitch” said Nathan Bombrys, Rugby Canada CEO.

“The event is so important to rugby in Canada.  The tournament is a key financial driver that helps us to invest in our national teams and programs.  But more importantly, the tournament provides a major stage every year for our Canadian stars to inspire the nation and compete against the very best in the world.”

Rugby Canada is grateful for the support of the Government of Canada, the Province of British Columbia, Sport Hosting Vancouver, BC Place Stadium and World Rugby for their work in bringing rugby sevens back to Vancouver for a ninth year.

Tickets will be available for purchase at vansevens.com on Tuesday October 24 at 10:00 a.m. PT. Questions regarding ticket purchases can be directed to tickets@vansevens.com or 604-355-5330.
