Emirates Match Official appointments confirmed for women’s internationals from August to October

World Rugby has confirmed the Emirates Match Official appointments the six women’s internationals from August to October that fall outside of the WXV Global Series and WXV Global Series Challenger.

World Rugby has confirmed the Emirates Match Official appointments for six women’s internationals from August to October, starting with the Fiji v South Africa test in Suva this weekend.

Jess Ling (Australia) and Amber McLachlan (Australia) will referee the two-test series between Fiji and South Africa in Suva and Lautoka on 8 and 15 August respectively, with Maggie Cogger-Orr (New Zealand, pictured) taking charge of the second O’Reilly Cup 2026 test between New Zealand and Australia in Auckland on 22 August.

Ella Goldsmith (Australia) then oversees Japan v Fiji in Fukuoka on 4 September, a day before Zoe Naude (South Africa) will referee the South Africa v New Zealand match at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg which forms part of a double header with the third test of the men’s Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series.

The last of the six matches will see Ireland host Japan in Cork on 3 October, a week after the sides meet in the WXV Global Series 2026 in Galway, with Clara Munarini (Italy) in the middle.

Appointments for the WXV Global Series 2026 and WXV Global Series Challenger 2026 will be announced by World Rugby in the coming weeks.
