As rugby’s global reach continues to grow, an effective and diverse workforce is essential to the game’s success. Increasing the number of women involved across the sport supports the growth of the whole game and inspires the next generation of players, coaches, administrators and fans. 

This toolkit aims to support the whole rugby ecosystem to recruit, develop, and retain more women coaches at every level of the game. World Rugby launched its first Women In Coaching Toolkit in 2020, and this second edition builds on that foundation, with the latest guidance to support all stakeholders in increasing the number of women coaching rugby.
